Summer in the city........
Yeah! It's hot in Germany and the weekend will be fab! I don't have anything to do so I will relax and enjoy the sun, probably I will work on my balcony a little bit. I need some new flowers. 
Some friends are going to the "Evening with Dominic Keating" in Bavaria - have fun :D 
Remind him that he is a THUMBler as well ;)

What else is going on? I am organizing the last events for my company before I leave in June. We will have some client lunches, a big summer lounge party in Zurich (I am really looking forward to), a kick off event (also in Zurich) and an office opening party in Geneva. So I am still pretty busy and my colleagues already asked me for invitations and schedules for events in September, but, that's not MY job anymore *gg*- cause after June 6th - >

When Alex and I were in Thailand, we had a pretty crazy and funny idea - and today I started to bring this idea to life :D

   Thumb also adopted a gorilla baby! 
   And he is just as cute as my Dushishoze. 
   His name is Tetero, which means "being spoiled" ;) 
   Have a look at this sweet baby!

May is going to be a very busy month. We will have a small barbecue party at a friend's place to celebrate his 
   1-year-club-membership. Next weekend is a big THUMBthing (club-meeting) in Cologne/Bonn - we are going to
   a theme park and try out a new rollercoster -yeahhhh!-, to a water park and we plan a nice cocktail evening.
And the weekend after that my friends and I visit the "Lord of the Rings" - Symphony Concert in Cologne. I am really looking forward to that experience. Watching the DVD already gave me goose bumps! After my last day in the office in June, I might fly to New York again.... I have to organize my datebook, to see, if there is enough time before I begin my training. I hope there is a free weekend! They started to rebuild the "World Trade Center" and I'd love to watch that go up.

Dr. Wladimiiiiiiiiiiiir Klitschkoooooo!! 
YES!! He is back! Wladimir is the new world champion, he won the IBF heavyweight title yesterday night in Mannheim, Germany! Great fight!
His right hook finished off the American Chris Byrd in the 7th round. You're da man Wladimir! You're da man!
Great fighter, great body and a very intelligent and very nice guy. I love boxing :)

Well, this was an interesting work week *g* I quitted my job - yap,  finally I am going to be my own boss! Hurray!

I still can't believe it, this moment is a little bit bigger than me ;)  But I am so looking forward to the future. The last months were  truly amazing, my whole life changed, but in a good way. I still can't believe how  many things happened to me and what consequences they had. If you told me  this at the end of last year I probably would have laughed and now... well, I am  just happy *g*

Happy Easter! :)

I am back from Thailand with a great tan :D and in a great mood. I think this was one of the laziest and best vacations for
over 2 years. I loved every second of it.
The weather was good, the hotel amazing, our private pool simply breathtaking and the food .. well I think the Thais have the best food in the world!

    Last day in the office tomorrow and then I will pack my suitcase. Our plane leaves Friday afternoon - 
    for 17 days I will do nothing but relax, enjoy the beautiful country, the nice people, the good food 
    and of course the sun and the ocean! Sounds like heaven :)

    I was at an important financial fair today, checking our booth, finding out how we can improve
    our work and have a look at our competitors. I have to say I LOVED our design and the way 
we represent our company - we have come a long way since I joined the team and I am proud of what we have achieved so far :)  Sooooooooooo........ I really deserve this vacation now *gg* :D

Hurray, it's weekend!
This first week back to work was heavy - over 400 mails, 47 messages and A LOT of letters, packages, invoices *sigh* - but my inbox is empty and the events till end of April are organized! Yippeeh :)
Sooo, time to enjoy myself. I am going to visit a very good friend for the weekend, we will do some wine tasting and talk a lot, because we haven't seen eachother for quite a while!
Then I need to get my rabbits to my parents next week, because Alex and I leave for Thailand next Friday!!! We will enjoy this beautiful country for nearly 3 weeks!!

Oh and before I will pack for the weekend I have to introduce you to someone:

Meet Dushishoze :

Dushishoze is my new "godchild". I "adopted" him from the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International. It is dedicated to the conservation and protection of gorillas and their habitat in Africa. My little Dushishoze lives in Rwanda and is 3 years old.

Back to normal, working, planing the vacation and enjoying the spring!!
I just love it when it gets warmer, you see the sun in the bright blue sky, there is still a cool breeze, there are the first  light greens on the trees and the first flowers show their colors. I love the spring :)

I am flying to Switzerland, to St. Moritz this weekend. I organized a client event at the "White Turf Race"

WHITE TURF is the fascination of the noble thoroughbreds from all over Europe that fly across the flattest racecourse in the world, carrying international jockeys sporting the colours of prestigious racing stables.

It is a unique experience. Set against the magnificent alpine backdrop of the Upper Engadine, the high society of horse racing come together and enjoy St. Moritz’s proverbial ‘champagne climate’.

Happy Valentine's Day!! :)

Well, I am back from the UK and I have to say the Collectormania was great! 
I really enjoyed this convention, the fans had a lot of time to talk to the actors and there were A LOT of actors! 
The talks were very interesting, I got all the autographs I wanted and spent a lot of money ;)
Andy Serkis is such a nice guy, very intelligent, very inspiring. I had a long talk with John Rhys Davies and with Shane Rangi...  he might come to Ringcon .. yeahhhh...

                    

Thanks to the THUMB girls who made this weekend really funny and to Filip and Sven - it was great to meet you - finally :)

I am afraid I have to dissapoint you.

I dreamed about the Maledives but unfortunately the hotels we wanted to book were sold out. We probably will try again in fall.

  I am leaving for Paris today.
  We have a big investor conference at our headquater. I won't have much time to do some shopping or sightseeing, but my hotel 
  is located at the Champs Elysées, so at least I will be able to take a nice walk. ;)

  If you wanna eat good steaks in Frankfurt, check out this restaurant - great food, great wines, great atmosphere...

  What a nice and relaxed weekend :) 
  I am plannig my vacations at the moment. This time I would like to go "east" again. I have never been to the Maldive Islands and I think that's 
  what I need right now - sun, beach, crystal clear water and NOTHING to do, except relaxing in a hammock and reading.
  This is my favorite at the moment:

 

  The whole island is one resort. I would love to see myself there *sigh* - A girl can dream, can't she? ;)

   uhhhh... Friday the 13th... *g*     Keep the fingers crossed that this day goes by fast ;)

  Anyway I have been to Rome for two days this week in order to find a nice hotel for our   
  "Investor Circle" in September. 
  It was my first time in this beautiful city and I really enjoyed it a lot.
  After finding the right hotel (we will stay at the www.hotelmajestic.com) I took a walk to 
  the Spanisch Steps, to the Fontana di Trevi and threw a coin
  into it, I walked to the Forum Romanum and the Pantheon and finally to the Colosseum, my  
  highlight of that day. 
  I took a guided tour and learned a lot about gladiators, spectators and the way of building
